Cycle Scheme

The Cycle To Work scheme is a tax break incentive scheme set up by the government to encourage people to take up cycling. It enables you to buy a brand new cycle at a fraction of the normal cost.

To be eligible you must be employed or on a long term contact, over 18 and paid on PAYE. You don't even need to work for a large company to use the scheme thanks to our scheme partners Cycle Scheme.

How does it work?

It's simple. Your employer buys the bike and accessories, then hires it to you, typically for a 12 month period.

You pay your employer the hire charge direct from your pay packet before any tax or NI deductions are made, so making it tax deductable, as your employer can claim back the VAT you also get that knocked off the price of the bike immediately.

Then at the end of the hire period your employer sells you the bike.

This all adds up to a saving of about 40% on the initial cost of the bike for the average tax payer.

Cycle Sheme vouchers accepted

We can supply you an an invoice and your employer can purchase the bike directly from us if they wish, or to make things very easy for them they can sign up with Cycle Scheme, the UK's largest Cycle To Work Scheme facilitators who will do everything for them.

Once signed up, you just tell Cycle Scheme the bike you want to buy from us and they'll give you a voucher. Bring that voucher to us, and we'll give you the bike. It couldn't be easier!
