1st Gear Cycles Rampage Round 4 Near Reading

he 1st Gear Cycles Rampage Series returns for 2010. The 2009 series was a success - everyone, from 8 year olds to elite athletes loved the fast, fun nature of the racing.
For 2010 the arena and course will be improved, making for even closer racing. The Checkendon course is an absolute classic. 2.5 miles of twisty, super-fast singletrack. It's a pure test of singletrack ability. The course is ideal for beginners, so if you've not raced before this is the ideal opportunity. Checkendon is mid way between Reading and Wallingford on the A4074.
Once again the Series will have BC points up for grabs, but you don't need any license or club membership to take part. Just a reliable bike and a helmet.

The schedule for the day is-
Under 10's and Under 12's - 09:30 start, mini laps
Youth & Juvenile - 3 laps - 10:00 start
All other categories (Open, Sport, Expert, Elite, Master, Vet, Grand Vet) - 5 laps - 11:00 start
Entry fee's are-
Under 12's & Under 10's - £5.50
Youth, Juvenile - £8.50
junior, Open, Sport, Expert, Elite, Master, Vet, Grand Vet - £12.50
50p booking fee included when booking online
(Plus £3 on the day surcharge, if you enter on the day- not apllicable to under 12's)
The Checkendon Course is sign-posted from the A4074 just north of Woodcote, between Wallingford and Reading.
